A group of black men march into Burns, Oregon with riffles on their arms then they take over a Federal wildlife refuge. One black man is on video saying he would rather die than go to prison. Later several black men leave the refuge including man who said he would rather die. They are involved in a police chase. The man who said he would rather die leaves the vehicle puts his hands up then reaches into his jacket. The police shoot him. Then they secure the other black men in the vehicle. After all men are secured they help the man who is shot. The black man dies. If this was the scenario. Would all you fare haired people be saying “I can’t believe they just left him there to bleed out.” No way this is what I would be hearing. “Hey you break the law that’s what you get.” or “What do you expect. We aren’t going to put our officers in the line of fire to save a criminal.” “He said he would rather die than be locked up.” I am tired of the hypocrisy. If you believe that the feds shouldn’t have shot this man shouldn’t have left him for 10 minutes while securing that vehicle. Then why aren’t you taking a stand for all the black men and woman who have been shot and killed under similar circumstances and many times with less cause. I will tell you why because racism is still alive and well in America and you are kidding yourselves to say otherwise.
