A child's self-esteem is fragile. Some things that parents think are cute result in cruel teasing by other children, which leads to isolation, resentment, and despair. Without therapy, these children can grow up to be sociopaths. Some become serial killers, but for others the need for revenge is so great that entire nations are made to suffer.

Parents, if you really have to use the bowl, for goodness' sake, please make sure that it's on straight.
