What file formats do you accept?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP for image uploads. Files are re-encoded to WebP on upload to keep file sizes small without quality loss.

What is the max file size?

Image uploads are capped at 10MB. The cap is generous — most phone photos compress well below it.

Do I retain the original quality?

Yes. We do a single re-encode to WebP at 90% quality. You won't see compression artifacts on a meme-sized image.

Will my image be public?

Only if you publish it to the feed. Hitting Download saves the meme to your device without ever entering the public gallery.

Do I need an account?

No. You can upload, caption, and download without signing in. Sign-in is only needed to publish to the public feed with creator credit.
